    What is the overall openion about ASUS K8N4-E Delux

    Please give the overall openion about ASUS K8N4-E Deluxe Motherboard for AMD Athlon-64 3000+.Is there inbuilt graphics memory for this board.Is this the same case for ASUS MB suited for AMD 64 bit with NForce chipset.Also advice whether there is any thing that we can do for for tweaking perfomance of a system with AMD 64 3000+ and ASUS K8N4-E Deluxe.

      They are a good M’Board for AMD CPU’s but they do no have on-board graphics so you’ll need to take care in choosing your Video Card as some ATI Video Cards do not work with the NVidia Chip set which is on this M’Board.

      It’s PCI XPress designed so your Video should be blindly fast for games and the like for full specs have a look here.

      But even though 64 BIT CPU’s are supported I would not be looking at any Windows 64 Bit version yet as they lack a lot of drivers. If you want to use a Nix Distro on this there are plenty specifically written for AMD CPU’s and are freely available.

      The 64 Bit Windows XP version really is still a development platform at the moment but that may all change when Vista becomes available supposedly latter this year in the third quarter as of the last MS Partners Meeting anyway.

      Agreed. I have owned several mobos, (Soyo, PC Chips, etc..) and none have even come close to any of the Asus boards. Buy with confidence.
