What programming language of News Website (BBC, Forbes…..)

Hi All
I’m newbie entry level in Web Develop.

My first client want to build a News Website with multiple topic like BBC, Forbes or NZ herald. I’m not sure what kind of programming language that those websites using.
Are they using website builder like WordPress, Wix to build a website or coding from scratch. What ‘s pros and cons of those language, cause they ask for secure system like Internet Banking Website too.

Reinventing the wheel if you’re a newbie, is not a good idea in my opinion. Go for WordPress, it probably has a weird plugin that’ll do the job for you. BBC and Forbes are made with micro-service architecture so there are multiple programming languages being used for separate components. Good luck and happy coding!

When I want to watch on TV for news I watch BBC. BBC is the British Broadcasting Corporation is a public service broadcaster, headquartered at Broadcasting House in Westminster, London. It is the world’s oldest national broadcaster, and the largest broadcaster in the world by several employees, employing over 22,000 staff in total, of whom more than 16,000 are in the public sector broadcasting. The total number of BBC staff amounts to 35,402 including part-time, flexible, and fixed contract staff.

Have to agree with edenhazrd1670 , as a newbie it is not a really great idea to reinvent the wheel. If I would have been you, I would use wordpress and nothing else. Wix is also pretty good, however it is not even close to wordpress. I have build a similar site back in the day actually, and I used wordpress, it worked out perfectly. Besides that, I would recommend your client to call for the services of https://codetoart.com as they are some of the best and really experienced web and app developers, the guys are really great.
