Hey everyone I need some advice… I am the so called “webmaster/web programmer” for the company I work for.. I say so called because even though I know how to do things the proper way and I am more than qualified for the position all of our web pages are given to a graphic designer who has no clue about anything the web except how to make nice pictures for the website.
We have this old out dated site that I was asked to redesign and make it more user friendly with some new systems. Now mind you I wasn’t asked to re-design the graphics, but rather the layout, nav menu and file structure.. so I did and my design was good.. well low and behold the “graphic designer” comes back with the web pages and none of the pages match the menu system I created.. she has pages for the website that I never had in the menu, and I think(well I know) cause she was meeting my boss to go over the website and they made changes with out me. So not only did I get nothing that was correct I had to wait 3 months to get it to.. Im at my ropes end, what should I do? I have seriously though of quitting and finding work else where.. I am seriously unhappy right now that my project I have been working on the past 5 months that should have been done 2 months ago is going to be set back another 2 months. well thanks for letting me vent at least.
