What should I do to project my phone to my laptop ?

Yesterday I was watching a video on my phone but the screen was too tiny and I thought about projecting it to my pc. But when I tried it didn’t work telling me that ” this device doesn’t support receiving Miracast, so you can’t project it wirelessly”. What can I do to deal with this issue ?

What to do if Miracast couldn’t connect on Windows 10?

      1. Check if your device supports Miracast
First, double-check that your laptop or desktop really does support Miracast. Users can do that by pressing the Windows key + R, entering dxdiag in Run, and clicking OK.
Then click the Save All Information button on the DirectX window.
Select a folder to save the text file to, and click the OK button.
After that, press the Windows key + Q hotkey.
Enter Notepad in the Cortana search box, and select to open Notepad.
Then click File > Open and select to open DxDiag.txt.
Then scroll down to the Miracast detail listed under System Information in the DxDiag document, which should say “Available, with HDCP.”
In addition, users will need to check network adapter compatibility. To do that, enter PowerShell in Cortana.
Right-click PowerShell and select Run as administrator.
Then enter Get-netadapter|select Name, ndisversion in PowerShell.
PowerShell will then display NdisVersion numbers, which need to be above 6.30.
Users who discover that their PCs don’t support Miracast will need a wireless display adapter. Microsoft’s Wireless Display Adapter is probably among the best ones for Windows devices.

      2. Check if Wi-Fi is enabled on both devices
check that Wi-Fi is enabled on both devices. Users can check Wi-Fi is enabled in Windows 10 as follows.
      3. Select auto for Wireless Mode Selection
      4. Reinstall the wireless adapter driver
      5. Update network drivers
