I use this freeware named CPU-id as ASUS forum recommeded this and it shows all cores freqeuncies and everything you not are able to read in BIOS no more I strongly recommend this so neat and complete virusfree program to be found at

it is one of the best tools I ever have used and it tells the true and in case you are about to buy a ‘used’ computer or a complete new computer this little program tells you all hidden information from aall hardvare and besides what OS you are running.
