What was your favorite Windows Tool/App/Easter Egg?

By LarryD4 ·
Sitting here on this November day, I am watching NASA TV which is broadcasting the Atlantis lift off. Which got me to thinking about that widget for Windows 95/98 Active Desktop, that tracked all kinds of stuff live in space for you.

Which was one of my favorite little Windows "do-hickys" to have running. Knowing when the space station was passing over was way cool.

What's yours?

Tough choices...

Wwwaaayyy back in the day of DOS, there were only a handful of free/share ware full-screen text editors-word processors. PC-Write was the best.

I'll never forget the thrill the first time I used Turbo Pascal 1.0!

Now, my favorite and most-often used program is Altap Salamander. Not free but the best file manager I've EVER used.
