Anybody remember those four Christian anti-war activists that were kidnapped in Iraq? I haven’t seen any news on them since the “deadline” for their execution passed a week ago today.
Obviously, the kidnapper’s demands to have all prisoners held have not been met. Swords of Righteousness Brigade, the terrorist group holding them was previously unheard of and has not made the hostage’s fate known. This is unusual, to say the least.
Could the resounding silence from the media be due to questions as to the truth behind this entire incident?
I’m suspicious that this is all a publicity stunt on the part of Christian Peacemaker Teams, the sponsor of the 4 “hostages” of whom I’m speaking.
Should I be correct, what sanctions should be taken against Christian Peacemaker Teams? Is simulated terrorism real terrorism in this context? After all, they are indeed trying to undermine stability.
I submit that Tom Fox, the American involved in this action should be tried for treason should this be a sham. After all, consuming military resources and acting directly against the objectives of this nation in the battle area. This goes well beyond dissent or protest, as employing “terrorist” methodologies and pretending to be a terrorist group places one squarely in the enemy camp.
What action should be taken against the Canadians and Brits involved?
