What's next after touchscreens

By meryoyo ·

I read an interesting article today about how 10 years ago we probably didnt imagine to have touchscreens as a standard for phones today. Then the article mentioned the next development, which is touchless devices. Think Kinect, but then for phones I must say, it sounds attractive for in the car. What do you guys think?

Maybe by then, voice recognition software will be able to discern actual words in spite of the accent.

I always pictured Star Trek TNGs holo deck as a desirable goal. Sure the p0rn industry would be 50% plus of the market. Just like the internet now.

But consider the other possibilities if you could involve yourself body and mind into the illusion. Teaching, exercising, etc. would be revolutionized.

I know. I must be smoking something. Maybe it's one of my servers. :) My new workplace reminds me of the movie "Das Boot" not Star Trek!
