I?ve been working in a small accounting firm (25 person) as a Network Administrator for over 6 years in a mix environment, Novell Netware 6.5, NT 4, Linux SUSE Prof 9.
Below is my certifications and experience:
BS in Accounting
Certified Novell Engineer (CNE 3,4,5 & 6) – (7 years)
Certified Lotus Professional both Administrator & Developer (CLP 5) – (3 years)
Experience with Linux SUSE 7,8 & 9, (Firewall, Exim for email filter, Squid for internet monitoring) (3 years)
Experience with Microsoft windows 98, 2000, XP & MS Office
Experience with MS Visual Basic
Experience with Hardware assembling.
I am currently pursuing with the Novell Linux Certification.
My question is, am I on the right track? Do I need to get a different certification to find a better job? i.e. MSCE or CCNA?
Any input would be appreciated.
