What's the best plan?

By MedTech ·
I'm just starting out on the IT path and I need as much help as I can get to decide on my carrer path. I am A+ certified and am somewhat steering toward other CompTIA certs. I thought that perhaps starting with Network+ and then moving on to i-Net+ might be a good plan, but some of you might have another opinion. I also thought about using those certs as a base to start toward CCNA. Is this a good plan or would some of you recomend a different area of study. I am not set on any perticular one.

The skinny....

The path you take should be dependent on job market in your area, but most importantly, what you enjoy doing. I would recommend doing the Net+ because it gives you the Networking technology and terminology, the 'Geek Speak'. Everything else after that makes more sense. If you are the creative sort, take iNet and the CIW site designer/eCommerce designer track. If you are more into code, do MCSD. Some of this info can be learned in as little as 5 days. email me with which region you are going to work and I will send you job market and salary info.
