What’s the best router for a small business out of Asus RT-AX58U and TP-LIN

I need a good stable router for our small office. It need to be able to handle multiple devices and should have a good range. Also want better bandwidth monitoring and control. Limit bandwidth per each device and see what’s taking up more data. Currently these are the two best options I came down available in our country. TP-LINK AC1750 comes with the Omada app which people say is a good way to manage your network. But I haven’t seen much bandwidth control in there. In the other hand, Asus already have good bandwidth control options. With the Merlin Firmware, I can upgrade those capabilities. What do you think?

      How small (employees, devices)?

That looks like a consumer model.

Range is more about the layout of the office and rarely affected by the router.

For a small office the consumer gear is fine but bandwidth management is rarely a thing today as connections here are 25 megabit and higher. Even if I were to download a huge file from a web site the limitation of the sending site is almost always less than our internet speed.

If this is a good size business I’d consider the Cisco Miraki line. We can add another hotspot if an area is now working well.

I didn’t care much about the brand of the office router, but I had to do so after I commissioned a consulting audit of my small business. It turned out that one of the shortcomings in doing business was the low speed of the Internet in the office. Then I decided to come close to solving this issue. After comparing all the characteristics of ASUS RT-AX58U and TP-LINK TL-WR841N, and reviews about them, I settled on ASUS RT-AX58U, in the future, if I need to cover large areas with a Wi-Fi network, then I will need a device with MESH support.

Because of its network speeds, range of ports and free anti-virus protection, the ASUS mesh Wi-Fi system is a better choice. However, it is more costly, so if you’re looking for a bargain and speed isn’t a priority, the TP-Link mesh Wi-Fi system has a few options with great value for its features
