I have a dual boot system, Windows XP and Windows 7 on two separate hard drives. Everthing was great for the first few days. After one of the Windows updates my computer would no longer shut down when exiting Windows 7. XP is still functioning normally. I tried restoring to an early version without success. I have tried stopping different process and stopping any unnecessary startup programs. Still have the problem. Can anyone help?
