I think that it is time for the, “Welcome (whomever)”, to go away.
I’d like to see, “Welcome. We thank God you came. We are nothing without you. Understand…we say all that stuff about rocketing membership and other hoo-rah because corporate says we have to. Otherwise, have a blast. We turn a blind eye.”
