Guys,
I have got an acer 5050 laptop in for a format. I have done everything, no problems however I cannot get the wireless network driver. I know this is a common thing and people just arnt looking in the right place etc but this has taken me days of searching (bear in mind it usually takes me 15-20 minutes to sort all the drivers for a machine!)
In device manager it is detected as a network controller and has the dreaded yellow/black exclamation mark.
I have tried the Atheros and Broadcom drivers from acers website, as well as searching forums for similar problems with the model of laptop. Also tried 3050 drivers, nothing works!
Like I said I have spent days on this now, I have even tried installing driver download programs but they have been no help.
Any ideas? You guys have never let me down! I am totally at a loss what next to try.
