Where can I get a keyboard cable...

By rupertg ·
... for my old IBM clicky keyboard? It's got a connector on the back that looks a bit like an extended RJ45 - I used to have a long curley keyboard cable but that's long since lost

Thanks

Try ebuyer then.

Try any of the major PC cable supplies that pop up in a Google search.

Try searching on your keyboard model number and the word cable.

For that matter, search for your keyboard at IBM's site and get the actual cable part number.

Also old PC hardware sites like PC Liquidators and I Sell Surplus are good sources for older cables.

Been a long time and probably tossed the cables, but would it not be easier to convert to the "NEW" $10 key board ? Cheap easy to replace and even easier to find, card will cost $1 - 10 dollars almost anywhere for a standard keyboard interface card (PCI/serial/com). Easy upgrade from clunk-clunk to click-click.
