Where can I get MS Access Runtime 2000?

by jeffm in anchorage . Updated 24 years, 5 months ago

I am attempting to upgrade about 40 Windows 9x workstations with MS Office 2000 to SP2. In all cases, I’ve had to upgrade from SR-1 to SR-1a before upgrading to SP2. It has been no problem with about half of them. But on selected other workstations, the upgrade to SR-1a has stalled and asked me to “Insert the disk with MS Access Runtime 2000 on it.” I’ve looked and looked at my MS Office CD-ROMs and on MS’s website with no luck. I have no idea where to obtain MS Access Runtime 2000. I understand it should be something called “accessrt.msi” and that there’s already a MS Access Runtime 2002 available, but it doesn’t work [or isn’t compatible].

Where can I obtain MS Access Runtime 2000 or otherwise get around the problem?
