Where is the Powerbook G5?

By -TwiTch- ·
The Power Mac G5 and iMac G5 machines have been on the market for quite sometime now. Does anyone know if Apple is planning to make a Powerbook G5?

How about Pentium M?

by jaykleg In reply to Where is the Powerbook G5 ...

Unless they really had a G5 design ready to roll out the door I can't imagine that they'll bother. Now that OSX is headed for the Intel platform I would be loathe to purchase any new personal systems based on the G4 or G5 considering the push for support should be switching to a concentration on x86. Unless I wanted to buy one as a "collector's item".

I didn't even think about the support issues. Eh well.. it looks like I'll be waiting for the Intel version.
