Where to set Trust Relation ?

Hi,
Trusts exist between domains, which are defined on domain controllers NOT workstations (as your professional box must be). If your workstation is in domain A, and you want to access resources in domain B, then you will need to create at least a one way trust between domain controllers in each domain whereby domain B trusts domain A, and then give access to the user of your workstation to the resources in domain B. If this is not what you are driving at, then reject this message and givesome more details...

Where to set Trust Relation ?

Win2K Professional workstations do not manage or define trusts relationships between domains. Win2K Pro boxes are only MEMBERS of domains (whether they be NT4 domains or Win2K Active Directory domains). So, if your Win2KPro box is a member of a domain, then the domain controller handles all trust relationships.
If your Win2KPro box is a stand-alone, a member of a Workgroup, then it is not a member of a domain, so it can't trust another domain.
On the Win2K domain architecture (with Active Directory installed), open up Active Directory Sites and Services (it is a MMC snap-in) on any Win2K Domain Controller. That is where you manage trusts.
In NT4, on the Primary Domain Controller, open up User Manager for Domains, and click Policy -> Trust Relationship.

Hope this helps.

The other Two answers are missing a very important part by default windows 2000 domains in the same forest have a transitive two way trust which basically means they are trusted from the time you run DCpromo. With NT you have to set the trust up totrust the domain that the workstation is in.
