I’m in dire need of purchasing a DVD writer in order to do some of our backups. Because od compliance issues we are required to make backups of our entire email on WORM (write once read many) media. CD’s are no longer large enough so we need to goto DVD. However, I would like to be able to use rewriteable media on the drive as well for other purposes.
My questions are:
1) What are the differences, advantages and drawbacks to DVD-RW and DVD+RW?
2) Are these my only economical options or are there others?
