I would like to know the Antivirus that can be installed on a USB Drive and scan the my Windows Machine booting from a USB on which the Antivirus is installed. I came across and tried two solutions (Avira AntiVir Recue Disk, Kaspersky rescue disk). The GUI interface for both the solutions worked fine, but I would Like to know if TechRepublic recommneds and particula Solution for my post. I want you to suggest me any good, stable and the one which gives me accurate and consistent Virus Defenition updates to keep my system free from Viruses. I own three systems and OS installed are Windows XP Pro 32-bit, Windows 7 Pro 32-bit, Windows 7 Ent 64-bit.
Thanks, Ram.

after deciding what you want on it function-wise, then researching what items fulfill those functions. Why limit yourself to one? Especially in terms of AV, why not use all decent ones which are offered? Separate disks, or all in one, multiple solutions is always the way to go, as some invariably cover something that others do not (yet).
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
Which is the best Rescue Disk
