You are spoilt for choice

There are many devices which would meet the specifications you describe. Unfortunately, I am not aware of the current prices in the US but I am sure good deals are to be found.

A good start might be to decide which platform would be most suitable for you. You might want to look at some devices with Windows Mobile or Android operating systems and choose which you like best. That should help narrow down your search a bit!

Personally, I own a HTC Touch Pro2 which runs Windows Mobile. I chose this for very specific reasons, as I have some mapping software which only runs on Windows. The other crucial feature for me was a full QWERTY slide-out keyboard.

Hope this helps..

Which? - One that fits your hand snugly! ...

by OldER Mycroft In reply to which is the good smartph ...

I've seen (and had to listen to) many users over the years, complaining that the smartphone they bought doesn't 'feel good'.

My advice has always been the same: irrespective of the capabilities of the smartphone, since it is going to spend its working life in your hand - you ought to have had a test drive before purchase.

By all means, buy online should you so choose to do so, but have the wit to wander round retail stores first, asking to 'have a feel' at each phone in turn.

Any recommendation you get from any TR peers, ultimately assumes that YOUR fingers are the same size and shape as theirs are.
