I am trying to troubleshoot an application server running NT4.0, SP4. The specific problem I have is that the performance monitor graciously offers to run a program on alert (&processor >90), but the selection of programs available to me do not port the output to a log file. I want an output like Qslice or Task Manager to print to a text file for later review. I only want that to happen when the processor use goes beyond 90 % for 5 seconds, or the memory goes beyond 80% for 5 seconds.
