IDEs are not common. I’ve seen such since about the 1980’s and your question is in need of a rewrite.

Long ago we would write code in some editor, then compile it and then look over the results. Today you might still do that with no need for any IDE. I know I still have such a system today. It’s a legacy bit of code.

Now if you had asked what languages you might use Visual Studio with, that might have some answer but you didn’t and I’d posit that even Visual Studio isn’t “common.”

Integrated improvement environments (IDEs) are vital equipment for any software program developer. They grant a complete surroundings that streamlines the software program improvement process, making it less complicated to write, test, and debug code.
Personally, I have used several IDEs over the years, and each one has its own unique features and benefits. For example, I have used IntelliJ IDEA for Java development, which provides excellent code completion and debugging capabilities. I additionally use PyCharm for Python development, which presents effective assist for facts science and computer getting to know tasks.
In addition to these specific IDEs, there are also many other popular IDEs available for various programming languages, such as Visual Studio for C++, Visual Studio Code for JavaScript, and PhpStorm for PHP. Each of these IDEs has its own strengths and weaknesses, and the choice of which one to use depends on the specific needs of the project and the preferences of the developer.
