Hello!
I am an experienced programmer, but quite new to scripting languages. I think a script will help me here because it should be small and I don’t require a GUI.
What I need is to write a small script to search the internet (perhaps through google, or a pre-programmed list of sites to check) to find a datasheet having the same name as a part number that I enter. It will always be in pdf format. It should download and open the pdf file that appears to be the closest match.
Is this possible? If so, which language could do this for me most easily?
