Hi guys,
I am currently a PeopleSoft ERP developper. Over the last three years most of my work has entailed system customization and integration between PeopleSoft ERP and 3rd party software at various companies.
I am now a full time system developper at a company (part of the MIS staff) and am supporting all their PeopleSoft systems.
I am concerned I pigeon-holed myself into PeopleSoft and would like to know what you all think would be a good diversification of my development skills.
For example, should I focus on Server-side code development, Web services, XML, and SOAP? Or should I get into Web-site development, portals, portlets, etc..
Which toolset should I use? Does it matter?
Where do you guys see the industry moving to?
