while renaming administrator

While renaming administrator account (for security reasons)what all the changes need to be done (or what all the precautions neeed to be taken care)so that the administrator retian the full access even to the GPOs and any other thing on the machine?

All other machines sharing this computer's resources that accesses or uses that account name need to be changed to the one you changed to, so Adminsitrator becomes something that you renamed to. So if you get some permission error messages... you will know where the prob lies :-D

ALSO one more thing, rename the Guest account if you can as well, so when user's try to login with Guest they don't get an message saying 'Account Disabled' if they do, it indicates them that this could be a Windows machine and such

well,the sole purpose of renaming administrator account is that nobody should get administrative priviledge over my machine - over the network or locally...Or the person (hacker) should atleast need to guess the account!
Anyways,I got the right way to rename the administrative account- this has to be done from local security policy and not just right-clicking the account...This way is the most safest way..By saying this i ma closing my question..!
