White Papers - MS Client for Netware vs.

By JerryD ·
Is anyone aware of any resources (white papers, technical analysis, etc.) with a comparison of Microsoft's Client for NetWare vs. Novell's Client32 (including features, performance, etc.)?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Jerry

I dont think there would be. The MS client for Netware is a no-frills client with few features beyong login and drive mapping while the Novell client is very robust and very fat. You may want to check Novell's web site.

The main key to this is...

Novell client is optimised for the Novell network side of things. Handles all the network functions that Novell does differently to MS in a much more efficient way. The catch comes that it does not interface into Windows as well as the Microsoft client. As far as an independant view you can try http://clubinternet.novell.com/
