Who's the biggest idiot -- and truly deserves the link?

Who really deserves this link?

I nominate this guy:

An FBI official in Washington, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the case is still under investigation, told The Associated Press that the Milwaukee man acknowledged posting the phony stadium threat as part of a "writing duel" with a man from the Brownsville, Texas, area to see who could post the scariest threat.

How about

the guy in a gorilla suit who kidnapped a kid in a shopping center store?

when they caught up with him claimed he was 'just kidding'.

Well this guy doesn't deserve to be released in the Congo where they'd skin him for bush meat. 'Just kidding'. I think he does deserve that. Might save a real gorilla who doesn't hurt anyone.

Let Me In!!!

by BigAbe In reply to Who's the biggest idiot - ...

The pilot of an Air Canada Jazz flight from Ottawa to Winnipeg stepped out 20 minutes rom Winnipeg to go to the restroom. When he finished, he found he was locked out of the
cockpit and couldn't get back in to land the plane. Passengers watched as the captain banged on the cockpit door for 10 minutes, but apparently neither the first officer nor the flight attendant in the
cockpit with him could get the door open. The pilot finally took the door off its hinges in time to land the plane. Air Canada admitted the incident did occur, but said that a pilot lockout is a "non-Reportable incident" that doesn't have to be reported to Transport Canada. (Ottawa

What about the story of MS loosing the BSOD?

by HAL 9000 Moderator In reply to OOOH NOT AGAIN!

Apparently with Vista when you get a Fatal error in the System the failure screen will now be Red unless it is a Really Major Fatal Problem in which case it will be Blue.

Now just how Fatal does a Fatal error have to be to warrant the BSOD instead of the new RSOD?

What is a fatal error? Well that depends upon what peripherals

by Deadly Ernest In reply to What about the story of M ...

are connected to the computer. If one is a 44 magnum, and it's pointed at you, weell, that could just be a fatal error.

How about installing Windows as the operating system on a critical service, and watch the WGA chuck a hissy fit - just as the plane nears the airport in final aproach. be it on the inflight computer or the radar set control computer.

WGA

Without internet access, does WGA still bother the PC?

Would such systems be connected to the Internet?

I hope not..

As long as you have Live Update turned on there is no problem. However if you turn it off you are in a world of hurt that there is no way out of.

So do I

Call me childish, I don't care. But it cracks me up every time. I just imagine an unsuspecting "victim" with the speakers turned up loud! (I've even been "victimized" myself by forgetting to turn down my own speakers!)

Well I would have to put forward the AU Prime Minister

by HAL 9000 Moderator In reply to Who's the biggest idiot - ...

Little Johny Howard as he is responsible for the first Control Order to be place on an AU Citizen than prevents him making phone calls to certain people.

At the top of the list is Ossama, followed by the leader of JI and other of this ilk. All of which appear on AU Most Wanted List. But apparently the AU Prime Minister can't afford to allow this guy Jihad Jack to be handed a phone by the AU Federal Police and ring these people and have the calls traced. Apparently it's too expensive to have a Special Forces Team on Standby to go out and capture these people.

But it's perfectly acceptable to have people out looking without knowing where to look. Typical Bureaucrat thinking involved here perfectly willing to spend several Million $ to save $1.50 AU and not expect a result.

But somehow they managed to get two Federal Courts to make the order.
