Why are the permission tab missing in Outlook 2003 Calender

    Locked

    by snowmannrex ·

One of my users need to share her Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2007 based Calender. Problem are however, that 3 tabs are missing including the permission tab.
I have come this far, that it is somehow a faulty user profile, because if I rename her origin. profile and log her on to the PC again and thereby create a new profile the tabs are back.

So why not stick to that solution …?? well she got a bunch of software with special settings and it will take forever reinstalling again…..

can anybody out there help me out here… eg. with the file name on the file that hold the outlook settings..

      Create a new Outlook profile

easily done in the control panel, mail, select prompt for profile to use and add another profile, setup the information as to server and id then restart Outlook selecting the new profile you created.

If this works, just recreate the links to her *.pst files and all should be good, do not forget the *.nk2 file will have to be renamed to reflect the new profile name.

Then return to the control panel, mail and set the new profile as the one to use.
