Oops! In running a utility to remove a possible infection, I must have removed an important file or registry item. Most applications are running fine, but if the application has a “pane” within the program window that has a “button” or “field”, the pane is either blank, or the object is inaccessible. I created a restore point but when I run system restore I receive a blank window (no text, buttons…) making the selection of a restore point impossible. The window has a title bar, min/max/close objects, but nothing within the window? Any suggestions?
