Why can’t I surf?

by ereis . Updated 25 years, 5 months ago

I have a home network operating from a DSL line into a Linksys router. The router connects to the DSL service through PPoE. The router then runs into a Intel 4-port switch. I have two boxes, one runs Windows NT 4.0 server with service pack 6a and one with windows NT 4.0 workstation with service pack 6. The server is running DHCP, DNS and WINS. The workstation logs into the domain with no problems (obtains and IP adress, browses the network, is assigned a gateway, etc.) I can surf the web from my server but not from the workstation. I think I didn’t completely setup the DNS service, because I wasn’t sure of the zones or other areas. Help.
