Dear All:
My department has a HP Color LaserJet 5M that has served us well for a few years, but I think it’s showing it’s age. It doesn’t like to print photos at any kind of good resolution (especially photos of people wearing white–they come out looking like they are wearing peanut butter). It also doesn’t like to print MS Office Drawing objects from Word correctly, especially those with reversed out text. I have tried every printing option I can think of to better these situations. The peanut butter photos I have not been able to solve, but the MS Office Drawing Object problem I was able to work around by cutting the image and re-pasting it as a Picture (EMF).
My LaserJet 5M has the maximum memory I can give it (52MB).
Doesanyone have any idea what I can do to solve these two problems? Do I just need to buy a more recently-made printer?
