WHY DO YOU ROLL YOUR ADDRESS

by jdelasaux . Updated 21 years, 9 months ago

Every TechRepublic emailing has an address that contains a number that rolls with each new posting.

When you do that, my spam program throws it into the Quarantine file.

If you feel obsessed about keeping track of your mailings, it seems as though you could write a simple script that would put a number in the line, instead of in the line, that rolls.

That way, “from” means FROM, and “subject” means SUBJECT, as data should be.

Sounds very simple, but I’ll bet your techie geeks will argue about this and advance all sorts of nonsense ideas for hours!
