i have a hp pavilion a288n desktop computer that i got off a friend.it has a amd Athlon cpu,i think it was a 2.13 ghz but not positive.i had a 1gb and a 512mb sticks of ram in it and a nvidia g-force 3 200series witch was 128mbof ram on it.the motherboard was a msi also.my problem is i cant get any picture out of it.my girlfriend was playing one of the games we like to play called combat arms when she said it started to make alot of noise and froze so she held the power button down tell it turned off,but when she tryed to turn it back on no picture would come out of it,when i got home i also tryed to start it and all it does is power up the fans will come on but no picture,so i thought it was my video card so i tryed to use the on board video but that didnt work also.i tryed a differnt video card that i know is good,tryed to put a new hard drive and os but still no picture can anybody tell me what they think happend and can i fix it?i know it is a old computer but for some reason that computer ran better than both of my newer ones one being an hp with a Pentium4 3.0ghz cpu that had 3 gb of ram.please help!!!
