I have a DOS exe that is used from Virtual XP mode.
Originally the drive map was on an 2003 server and worked fine for everyone
Migrating it to an 2008 R2 SP1 server resulted in the following error while executing the exe (from CMD) : cannot execute exe
I thought its a problem with 2008. but while testing. I moved the exe file to another 2008 R2 SP1 server and created the map drive on the XP mode machine and it worked perfectly!!!
So why does it work from one server and not the other. while both are identically configured (from sharing point of view)
