“This is why I always thought the holodeck was the most unrealistic technology in Star Trek. Because if science had created a holodeck in the 24th century then it would have meant the end of civilization–men would spend all their time in the Playboy Mansion simulation and women would spend all their time in the Husband Who Helps With The Chores simulation. Nobody would be out exploring the galaxy.”
