I got a recent image from our company with XP Pro Sp3. When the computer boots up num locks are off. If I turn them on, press ctrl alt del to login, then login they go off again before the desktop comes up. They are set to On in the bios. I also ran MS fix it50087.msi with no luck. If I reboot, when the XP splash screen comes up they go off and then come back on a few seconds later. As windows boots and the screen that says Please wait, preparing network connections, applying settings, ect appears… They go off again. Any thoughts here, its annoying…
If I log into the machine and not the domain with localadmin the numlocks will come on but is still off at the ctrl alt del screen?
