OS: Windows 2003 Standard Server
Disk Management says: “Connecting to Logical Disk Manager service” and hangs with no error after I deleted a volume on a disk I had recently installed to be used for backups.
I restarted the Logical Disk Manager service (Auto) and it restarted without error.
I restarted the Logical Disk Management Administrative service (Man) and I got an Error 1053.
I’ve been unable to find solutions thus far that fit my symptoms and OS.
