Why is it that every one

By zlitocook ·
Accepts what MS gives them is a good thing or a plus? I thought that an O/S or a program is suppose to let you do what ever you need to do and then release you from the program after that. Mable I nave been around too long but that was the idea at first. Now it seems that every thing you do is saved some where and can be used to prosecute you,

Go with the flow

I have yet to find an OS that will allow me to do everything I want. LINUX is good for some things and WINDOWS for others and then I still have a few programs that only run effectively under DOS. Yes, they all have little tags and hidden files that can be located and scrutinized by those who know how to see where you have beeen, what you did, who you chatted with and there's no way to stop it. The FEDs are all over this, as well as the hackers. I decided long ago that if you are of the criminal persuasion, you can be tracked and if you PC is seized, you will have no way to deny what, where and when. I also know that there's no way that it will ever go away, there will always be BACKDOORS and such. Why is WINDOWS the most picked on? Because they are the most prolific OS out there and almost all software companies write to run under that OS. In a sense they are the "DEFACTO" standard because of this. Just like the hardware, if you stick to INTEL, NVIDIA, and CREATIVE your machine will run faster and without patches you'll not run up against many problems. GO with what works.

It is part and parcel for how things

evolved.

I am not sure how you got from "Accepts what MS gives them is a good thing or a plus?" to "Now it seems that every thing you do is saved some where and can be used to prosecute you"

What does MS have to do with information security and prosecution? We need some protections in order to safe guard ourselves. Businesses have to protect their investments too.

Perhaps you can clarify what you are trying to say. Thanks

Not really sure what you are trying to say here. But as far as data being saved to prosecute..GOOD. And those poor children that are forced into subjective acts doesnt seem to have an affect on you? Did you stop to think that maybe the government also has a hand in this? I am sure they dictate to a point how and what data is saved and where.
