I have installed the first XP machine in a school lab prior to upgrading all 90 machines. I logged on as the machine administrator and set up one printer – a HP4000 laser connected to the W2K servers’ LPT1 port. When I log on as a domain user, the printer does not show up in ‘Printers and Faxes’. I have nearly 600 students, surely there is a way to get the printer to show up without having to install for every user on every machine…
