Why when I save as csv in excel is the resulting file still leaving spaces in the fields? I am exporting a crystal report into excel as an excel file. I am then saving as a csv file to drop the spaces for a web upload. The numeric fields are working fine; the first name, last name and middle initial fields are returning with the spaces for the default field size. When i try to do a save as with junk info in an excel file it works fine.
Any help???
