One could debate these points from a few different veiw points, but I’ll choose the easy ones. One of the reasons big companies are migrating from Novell to Windows 2k AD is because of the fear they will eventually lose the support from the vendor. Recently Novell laid off 700 employees which makes you wonder if they are really doing as good as they say they are doing. several months ago Novell bought one of the largest consulting firms world wide. Why would they do that if they want to keep their OS as the flag ship of their business? Are they more interested in the consulting business than they are in their software products?
Just something to keep in mind. I’m not advocating for no one here i’m just point out some facts. The article can be found at http://www.varbusiness.com/sections/research/research.asp?ArticleID=30028
