Why wont WORKGROUP expand when i try to MAP NETWORK DEVICE

Hello, I have recently got the BT Hub 2.0 router, it has 2 USB ports on the back and in one of these i have attached an External Hard Drive.
I am able to map to this E-HDD via one laptop however when i go to map to the device on a second laptop i can not expand the WORKGROUP under the MICROSOFT WINDOWS NETWORK.
I can ping the E-HDD with 0% loss and i have checked the TCP/IP settings on the laptop and NetBIOS is enabled.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

think this may be like the problem i had

had a similar problem printing from a laptop.

try creating the same username/password thats being used on your laptop on your desktop. Make sure they are both admins of course.

then try again
