I just ordered and received the new Siemens SX66 Pocket PC Phone and am enjoying it greatly. However, I am having some difficulty with the Wireless 802.11b card that is built in. I have given the card a set IP address and defined the Default gateway as my Wireless Router, and have also set the the DNS entry to the proper setting. However, it doesn't seem to be consistently keep the connection. The same problem ocurrs, even if I remove the static IP and set it to an automatic IP. Is there anyone that can help me with this issue? Thanks.

What brand is your router? Did you check to see if it will support a Siemens PDA device? Does the device give an error or any kind of message? Could you please explain the statement of Def Gateway/Wireless Router? Like the same IP's? Sorry for all the q's.
I'm using a Netgear WGT634U 108Mbps Wireless Storage Router. It supports both 802.11b and g protocols. I bought the router before the pocket pc; so, no, I didn't check to see if it was compatible. I assumed that because it supports both types of protocols it would support it.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
