Until now, I’ve used an Ethernet cable between my router and desktop. Yesterday, I suddenly had no Internet. I tried 2 other cables, to no avail.
After clicking on Run Diagnostics, it informed me that I had no Internet access (duh!) but that wi-fi was available. It showed me 3 available networks, my own, BeFiber and Hidden Network. Those last 2 show intermittently in the list of available networks. I have no idea what they are.
Could Windows be showing me other people’s nearby wi-fi networks? If not, how do I go about determining what they are?
