widnows XP can not connect to internet

I have reformatted and installed winXP home. Since then my modem and wireless adapter are not detected.
New singtel broad band has usb connection but when try to configure the wizad search for TCP/IP protocol and get stuck. I have no way to connect to INternet.
Can anybody Help

Have you installed the drivers for the modem and wifi yet ?

You need to install hardware drivers for these devices so that the system can 'see' them.

The USB Modem came with a CD

You need to get the drivers off that and install them on your system before this will work.

If the Modem has a WiFi Access Point in it the correct Setup & drivers will be present on the Disc that came with the Modem. If it isn't all part of the same thing you will have got another CD with the Drivers for the WiFi.

AS Mycroft has said already you need to install the drivers before you can use these devices.
