i just bought a speedstream wifi router… and connected my PC into the port in the back, and i’m using my laptop also…. … i used to run zonealarm on every computer… but with zone alarm running, i can’t map to the other machines on the network…
my question is…. if i disable zonealarm, don’t i disable my security? protect myself from hackers at getting my files on my computer? i heard somewhere that the router serves as a firewall?
the only thing i’ve configured on the routeris change the password.. and only allow my laptop to access the router… is there anything else?
