WiFi, Win7, No reconnect

by manxann . Updated 15 years, 12 months ago

Wi-Fi Problem.

My laptop will only connect to the network once. If it is turned off or suspended, on

resume or restart I get the message: ?Windows cannot connect to the network?

Switch Wi-Fi off and then on at router, normal auto connection!

I also seemed to have the same problem at an airport hotspot. Connected fine ? turned

off laptop to save power and could not reconnect.

I have three PCs running XP on the home network, all of which connect automatically

on restarts without problems!

Netgear DG834G v5 Router

WPA PSK enabled

Toshiba L300 Laptop, Pentium dual core, 2.16 GHz

Atheros AR 5007 EG Adapter

Windows7 Home Premium
Any suggestions would be welcome!

PS Seem to have solved the problem! Since I last checked on the Toshiba site they have posted a driver update which seems to have solved the problem!
