Will Keeping a Flash Drive in a Hot Car Destroy it?
I have a 16gb flash drive only containing music that I leave plugged in to my car radio year round. My car stays parked outside, and where I live 90 to 100 degrees F aren’t anything unusual. Of course, it makes the inside of my car feel like an oven whenever I open the door to get in. Can this excessive heat kill or damage the flash storage for being exposed this long, or will it have to be way hotter be affected? Is it safe to leave in my car or do I remove it on super hot and cold days? Thanks!
