I have a Dell Inspiron 1300 running Windows XP Home Edition (32-bit), Pentium M 1.73GHz, 512MB RAM, 60GB HDD.
Installed Windows 7 Ultimate – No Issues (although Dell does not provide Drivers for Win7 on this unit).
Bit sluggish as expected with the hardware, do you think Windows 10 would be quicker? If so I may spend $10 and install an additional 512MB memory before upgrading. Just want to do basic web browsing on it. I saw one website that have benchmarks between Win10 VS Win 7 (Boot times, HDD Space and RAM usage)….Win 10 was the winner in all those categories.
